What makes it special
Between Beomseom and the Beophwan coast, underwater peaks stretch like train cars. Pinnacle tops, walls, and channels arrive one after another, allowing a shallow pass and a deeper look toward the bottom in the same multi-level profile.
Pink sea fans, large soft corals, black corals, and long-branch black corals cover the ridge. Damselfish and yellowtail are common targets; amberjack and other pelagic fish may pass through. The site is broad, so enjoy the section chosen for the day's current rather than trying to cover everything.
Dive guide
- Entry point and direction may be selected to use the tide and current.
- Gaps between pinnacles can be deeper than they look; monitor depth, gas, and no-decompression limits.
- Coral grows on tops and walls, so careful neutral buoyancy matters.
- Avoid touching or removing fishing line and abandoned gear underwater.
