What makes it special

Ssangjeongcho is an offshore submerged pinnacle rising solitary from the deep waters northeast of Gwaneumdo. It is universally regarded as Ulleungdo's most spectacular diving encounter, featuring surreal gin-clear water with visibility regularly exceeding 30 meters.

Descending down the sheer vertical rock face reveals massive, shimmering walls of thousands of schooling rockfish and large groupers. Towering Asian sheepshead wrasses patrol the crevices, while deep walls are adorned with sea fans, black corals, and anemones.
