What makes it special

At roughly 20 m between Beomseom and the Beophwan coast, coral colonies create a garden-like reef. Move slowly between tree-like black corals and colorful soft corals while watching fish traffic around the rocks.

Damselfish and spadefish gather here, and yellowtail may pass through. Species and school size change with season and sea state. Although sometimes grouped with Gichabawi, local operators often run Coral Garden separately and focus the dive on the coral colonies.

Dive guide

  • Entry and direction can change whenever the current is used for the route.
  • A long stay around 20 m can use gas and no-decompression time quickly; keep a reserve.
  • Stay above the reef so fins, gauges, and hoses do not brush corals.
  • Do not handle fishing line or abandoned gear; shorten buddy spacing in low visibility.
