What makes it special

KAL Cave is on the coast between Seogwipo Harbor and Bomok, not on Seopseom itself. It is also known locally as KAL-donggul or Geomunyeo Cave. Several entrances connect through a cave about 20 m long, so the light changes from passage to passage.

A signature view is bubbles from divers ahead rising and pouring back through a vertical opening. Outside, entrance rocks and soft corals provide another scene. Visibility has recently ranged from 3 to 12 m, so the cave can feel bright and open one day and enclosed the next.

Dive guide

• Multiple entrances do not remove overhead risk; you cannot simply swim straight to the surface inside.
