What makes it special
This site follows a recessed northern shoreline of Seopseom and descends gradually. When the island shelters it from wind and current, the route can feel calm and easy to explore. Rock and sand alternate, and some boats continue to the nearby artificial reef.
Look around anemones and soft corals for clownfish, damselfish, Cheonghwangmunjeol, and striped cardinalfish. Wrasses may cross the sand, and pufferfish sometimes hover by the rocks. Sightings and visibility change with season and daily conditions.
Dive guide
- A fin kick can stir sand and erase visibility; stay off the bottom and use a soft kick.
- Confirm whether the artificial-reef route returns to the boat or follows current to pickup.
- Agree on maximum depth and the boat recovery point before entry.
