What makes it special

Resting in Gangneung's Marine Park, the Stella is a colossal 2,400-ton, 62-meter Russian trawler, recognized as one of the largest and most spectacular shipwrecks in South Korea. The highest points reach up to 18 meters while the keel sits at 32 meters.

The ship's bow, bridge, and deck fittings remain intact, creating world-class wreck diving scenery. Massive schools of fish swirl around the superstructures, turning the steel giant into an astonishing artificial reef metropolis.

Dive guide

• Due to the massive scale (62m), plan your dive around specific sections (e.g., bow or stern).
• Never enter the interior hull without specialized wreck penetration certification, gear, and guide lines.
• Strictly adhere to NDL limits and turn around at minimum 70 bar gas pressure.
• Use the mooring line for descent and ascent, and complete all required safety stops.
